Dr.Stolman Matches the Right Technique to Your Individual Condition.

No one acupuncture technique is effective for all conditions. That's why Dr. Stolman has made it a priority to be well-trained in all the techniques listed here.

It's one of the reasons he has gained such a stellar reputation in acupuncture and pain relief.

Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture

Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture targets points on the outer ear to help relieve symptoms. Each acupuncture point on the ear, when treated, triggers an electrical impulse from the ear via the brain, to the specific area of the body that is being treated. This form of acupuncture is especially useful for addictions, pain and stress.

Electro-Acupuncture

Electro-Acupuncture is the use of electrical current through the acupuncture needles. For some conditions, this form of acupuncture is most effective. Electro-acupuncture has helped reduce pain, inflammation, edema and swelling. Dr. Stolman uses advanced electrical stimulation equipment that has helped complicated medical conditions that other forms of acupuncture have been unable to help.

French Energetic Acupuncture

This form of acupuncture is based on traditional Chinese medicine. With this style of acupuncture, the body is separated into pathways called meridians. Needles are placed along these pathways with the idea that healing of many symptoms and conditions can occur by placing needles at specific points.

Japanese Acupuncture

Japanese acupuncture uses thinner needles that are inserted barely deeper than 1 or 2 mm. This makes for a very gentle treatment that is virtually pain-free, and an ideal treatment for children.

Neuroanatomical Acupuncture

Neuroanatomical acupuncture does not involve tongue or pulse diagnosis. It is a simple and effective treatment approach based on bodypoints selected through history taking, physical exam and areas relevant to the symptoms being experienced.

Scalp Acupuncture

A form of acupuncture that gives quick results in the treatment of acute and chronic pain, neurological diseases, nerve pain, stroke and many other conditions.

Trigger Point Acupuncture

Trigger point acupuncture is a form of acupuncture that targets tight or knotted muscles, also known as trigger points. Dr. Stolman uses touch to locate muscle tightness, then insert an ultra-thin acupuncture needle into the affected muscle and gently probe. This fatigues the muscle to reduce the tightness.

Osteopathic Manipulation

Gentle Manipulation of soft tissues and joints primarily used to treat musculoskeletal pain conditions enhancing overall health and well being.

Laser Therapy

A healing technique that stimulates acupuncture points with low intensity "cold" lasers emitting infrared light placed on or over affected areas and acupoints. It differs from laser surgery, which utilizes "hot lasers". It is usually used to relieve pain, inflammation, smoking cessation and wound healing.
